Tonight’s dish was a bit of a combination of what was left in our pantry. It turned out pretty good, though. Next time, we agreed it could do with a little less sauce. I think I may try this with a different pasta for an easier texture to get on my fork. The shells were a little floppy…
Medium pasta shells
Ragu marinara pasta sauce
Frozen chicken strips
Olive oil
Shredded mozzarella
Dried minced garlic
Dried chopped onions
Italian seasoning
Coarse black pepper
Parmesan
Parsley
Boil the pasta shells in a pot and drain when tender
Begin to heat the olive oil in a skillet and add the frozen chicken
Add minced garlic and Italian seasoning to chicken and cook until browned on both sides
Heat marinara sauce and add in onions, pepper, Italian seasoning, and garlic, blend well
Heat sauce until hot
Combine pasta, mozzarella, sauce, and chicken, mix together until well blended
Serve topped with parmesan and parsley
